• Gamblin luôn quan tâm tới việc tạo ra sự tiện dụng khi vẽ với sơn dầu, đồng thời bảo vệ tốt sức khỏe người họa sĩ, nên dòng sản phẩm sơn dầu hạng họa sĩ Gamblin Artist được đánh giá là đã kết hợp nhuần nhuyễn phẩm chất của sơn dầu truyền thống với những cải tiến kỹ thuật mới nhất, mang tới sự tối ưu cho sản phẩm. Bảng màu cũng được bố cục khéo léo, mô phỏng khá chính xác nhóm màu từ cổ điển đến hiện đại, thậm chí những màu có nguồn gốc tổng hợp. • Về pigment: sơn dầu Gamblin Artist được làm từ các loại pigment tốt nhất hiện có và hoàn toàn không độc hại. Chúng được chia ra làm 02 nhóm chính: Nhóm khoáng vô cơ: bao gồm các màu có nguồn gốc từ kim loại như cadmium, coban, sắt tương tự như màu được sử dụng bởi các họa sĩ Trường phái Ấn tượng, Cổ điển và Phục hưng. Những màu này có mật độ pigment cao và độ hút dầu thấp. Chúng dễ ngả xám khi trộn và rất tuyệt vời khi thể hiện ánh sáng hoặc các màu sắc trong tự nhiên. Màu nhóm này phần đông có độ opaque. Màu hữu cơ hiện đại: bao gồm các màu hữu cơ gốc carbon, được nhiều nghệ sĩ thế kỷ 20 ưa sử dụng. Chúng thích hợp tranh vẽ high-key hoặc có sắc thái tươi sáng. Màu nhóm này phần đông có độ trong (transparent). • Hầu hết các màu Sơn dầu Gamblin Artist đều sử dụng chất kết dính là dầu lanh tinh chế đã được kiềm hóa (alkali-refined linseed oil), trong khi một ít các màu còn lại sử dụng dầu cây rum (safflower oil). Cả hai loại dầu này đều hoàn toàn không độc hại vì chúng cũng được sử dụng phổ biến trong các sản phẩm chăm sóc sức khỏe và sắc đẹp. Hướng dẫn sử dụng
• Không cần dùng chung với bất kỳ solvent nào, vì sơn dầu Gamblin Artist dễ dàng làm loãng với một ít dầu lanh tinh luyện Gamblin. • Để làm sạch cọ vẽ, bạn có thể dùng khăn chùi đi lượng màu dư, sau đó chấm vào một ít dầu lanh tinh luyện Gamblin rồi mang đi rửa với nước và xà phòng.

• When creating their Artists’ Oil Colours, Gamblin were mindful, not only of how an artist works, but also of an artist’s working environment. Gamblin Artists’ Oils have the best qualities of traditionally made oils paints, combined with the latest technical innovations, to give the ultimate working properties. The Artists’ Oil range spans from historically accurate paints to modern, synthetically derived hues. • Gamblin Artists’ Oil paints are made with the finest grades of pigments available and are completely non-toxic. The Gamblin Artists’ Oil Colour range is made up of two different types of paints: Mineral Inorganic Colours: are made from metals such as cadmium, cobalt, iron and are similar to the colours used by Impressionist, Classical and Renaissance painters. These oil colours have high pigment load and low oil absorption. The colours easily grey-down in mixtures and are excellent for painting natural colours and light. Modern Organic Colours: are made from organic carbon based pigments and are similar to those used by 20th century artists. Most of these paint pigments are available in a warm and cool version (e.g. Phthalo Green, Phthalo Emerald). Gamblin organic colours are the best choice for high key painting and bright tints. The ‘modern organic colour’ selection is composed of mainly transparent paints with some semi-transparent colours Most of the oils in the range are made with alkali-refined linseed oil binder and the others with a safflower oil binder. Compared with cold press linseed oil (a traditional oil paint binder), alkali-refined linseed oil yellows significantly less whilst also creating a strong, flexible paint film. Not only are both the vegetable oils used in Gamblin Artists’ Oils completely non-toxic, but they are commonly used in health and beauty products, so their safety for use in paints is of no concern. • While most ranges of oil paint contain two or three whites, Gamblin produce ten: nine from their Artist Oil Range plus one FastMatte White Alkyd Oil Paint. • Made in USA.
Instructions
• No solvents are needed to paint with Gamblin Artists’ Oil Colours; they can be thinned with small amounts of Gamblin Refined Linseed Oil. • Brushes dirty with the oils can be cleaned by simply wiping away excess paint, working with a little Gamblin Refined Linseed Oil, and then rinsing with a brush cleaner or water and soap.
