Descriptions

• 100% cotton artist grade watercolor paper, 300gsm, suitable for watercolor, gouache and other water-based colors.
• This watercolor block consists of 20 sheets of paper bound together on all four sides by rubber glue. You can paint on the top sheet of paper, and once your paint has dried, you can remove the top sheet with a palette knife, which is inserted into a small gap in the binding. You then run the knife around all four edges, enabling you to remove your painted sheet from the block.
• Made in China.

Advantages of Using Watercolor Block

• No need to stretch your paper ahead. This is one of the main reasons artists use a watercolor block when painting outside, as you do not have to carry all the equipment with you to stretch the paper.
• The stretched paper will then produce a nice firm and flat surface.
• The pad has a solid and rigid backing, you won't worry that you will damage your painting while in transit.
• You can paint right up to the edge of the paper, and there is no need for any trimming.
